New UK country manager aims to take Comfort Zone to the next level

Combining innovation, science and a holistic philosophy, Comfort Zone is a well-kept secret that could be “the solution many businesses have been looking for”, according to its new UK country manager, Sam Keegan.

Keegan joins the Italian skincare manufacturer following a 14-year career at Decleor & Carita UK, which was acquired by L’Oreal earlier this year. For the last seven years, she worked as sales director of UK spas and salons.

Speaking to Spa Business, Keegan said one of the key successes in her previous role was in “building and empowering a strong team of experts to support and develop our partners to a level that exceeded that of other brands”. This was achieved through “a personal and individual approach to managing people, in addition to remaining ahead of new trends and constant education”.

She is now aiming to get the “true message” of Comfort Zone out, with initial plans being to build brand awareness, taking into consideration current market conditions. “The trend for wellness combined with science is so important to today's clients and customers who want results immediately yet want to feel relaxed and rejuvenated,” she said. “Comfort Zone's incredible Skin Regimen concept of treating the body inside and out provides a unique approach to skincare.”

In all, Keegan has spent 24 years within the commercial health, beauty and leisure industry, both in the UK and overseas.
